Ed Blake and Alan Keel provide services related to forensic serology. This includes examination and sampling of evidence for biological material, digestion of cells, DNA extraction, amplification of STR genes, and typing of these genes to generate unique genetic profiles used for comparison with other known genetic profiles.

FSA has been extensively involved with The Innocence Project at the Cardozo Law School at Yeshiva University in New York City.
